Saskatchewan Long Distance Moving – Five Quick Tips

Saskatchewan Long Distance Moving – Five Quick Tips

Here are five tips to help you move successfully, easily, to Saskatchewan. Number one – get rid of your old stuff. See, humans have a tendency to accumulate a lot of stuff, whether it’s clothes, gifts that you received that you never really liked but you felt too guilty to get rid of, but put all of this stuff into one room and then be cruel. Don’t leave yourself the chance to keep all of this stuff. Why? For two reasons. First of all it’s going to free up space for new energy to come into your life. The second thing, well it’s going to be – if you have less stuff to move around it’s going to be less of a pain in the ass.

Second tip – begin to switch your service providers well in advance, at least three weeks. We’re talking about phone, internet, cable, and the mail. That way when you get to your new house in Saskatchewan everything will be set up so that you don’t have to go back and have a lot of hassles with your old companies.

Third tip – you might want to do what I call the essential box. This is where you put into that box, it doesn’t have to be a real box, but normally you want to put them in different boxes than the other boxes you’re going to use to move your stuff, you want to put your essentials so that the first one or two days that you move to your new house you’ll have at least a minimum to ensure your comfort. So for example, your toothbrush, comfortable clothes, but also some good stuff like tea or alcohol just to make sure on your first night in your new house you actually enjoy it.

Fourth tip – this may sound stupid, but make sure that all your friends and all your family have your new address and your new phone number. And also, you might want to ask them to help you move.

And fifth and last tip for saskatchewan long distance moving – if you’re going to rent a U-Haul truck to move your stuff make sure that you also do that in advance because it doesn’t mean the weekend you intend to move your stuff that there’s going to be a U-Haul that is available for you.
