Long Distance Moving Canada Information From An Insider

Long Distance Moving CanadaSo you’re moving either in Canada or inside Canada. I’m going to give you a thumbnail sketch of Canada so that you know where you’re going when you’re inside. Let’s start with the Eastern province. We’re talking about Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, and New Brunswick. These are small provinces. Newfoundland for many, many years we called them New Feel. They are a province where the rest of Canada makes fun of them. Why, I don’t really know, but one thing is maybe their accent. Now, Newfoundland is basically an island, and in the last ten years what the central government of Canada did is build a bridge that actually connects the island to the rest of Canada. Now this was really a gift from the political party called liberals, because when you think about it there’s really nothing to do in Newfoundland.

Then we move to Quebec. Quebec is basically the French Canadian province of Canada. They’re always threatening the rest of Canada of separating and creating their own country. I don’t think it’s ever really going to happen.

Then we move onto Ontario. Ontario has been for decades, the center of the whole government of Canada. But since the election of Steven Harper, the political center of Canada has moved to Alberta.

So after Ontario we have the three central provinces of Canada – Alberta, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan. Now Saskatchewan and Manitoba, they’re basically rural provinces. Alberta is known for its mass amount of oil. So it is the richest province of Canada. And in British Columbia it’s basically the California of Canada with its direct access to the Pacific.
