Distance By Long Short Party Information You're Looking For

Distance By Long Short Party

As you know, distance is a Japanese song created by a Japanese group called Long Short Party. It is one of the theme songs of the Japanese animation Naruto. If you're reading this now, chances are you are looking for the English translation of the lyrics. You can find that easily by making a search in Google. But, I want to give you more information about that because if you're like me you're a Japanese animation fan.

Here's a couple of interesting things about the Japanese language. First of all, contrary to popular belief, it is rather easy to learn Japanese. It is not that different from English. The real challenge when learning Japanese is the written Japanese. In English we have one alphabet, 26 letters, and it is a phonetically system meaning if you hear the word door, then d-o-o-r is based on how the word sounds. Like I said, in Japanese they have three alphabets. The two first ones are called hiraganas and katakanas.

Now these can be easily learned. They are just like our alphabet. One symbol equals one sound. So for example, the sound "k" has a specific symbol for it. But, where it gets more challenging is that their third alphabet is called kanjis. Now they stole this from the Chinese, and the problem with that is each word has its own kanji. So it's not based on how the word sounds. So it forces you to learn an incredible amount of kanjis just to be able to read the newspaper. My Japanese teacher told me that you have to learn at least 1,500 kanjis to be able just to read the newspaper.

So for example, the word dragon in Japanese, if you write it with the kanjis it is one symbol; one symbol that means dragon. But, if you talk about many dragons then it is another symbol. And when you look at it, it is a simplified version of the dragon symbol, but three times in the same kanji.
